PRESIDENT – Al Watts, Omaha, NE

 Al Watts, PresidentAl has been an at-home dad for 9 years and has 4 children ages 9 to 3. He enjoys a well-crafted beer, watching the Kansas City Chiefs and performing as an infantry soldier at Civil War Re-enactments. Before staying home, he was a classified advertising sales rep for the Omaha World-Herald. Al is the Chairman of the Executive Committee and is responsible for website content.

Jim O'Dowd, Vice-PresidentJim has been an at-home dad since 2001, just before the birth of his first (of four) terrific kids. Originally from Chicago, Jim now leaves in scenic Boulder, CO where he continues his efforts to decide just what he wants to do when he grows up. Mechanical Engineering is sooo last career... Before being elected to the Board, Jim served as the West Regional Coordinator for Daddyshome. He is currently the Chairman of the Chapter Coordinator Committee.

TREASURER – Bill Ekhardt, Des Moines, IA

Bill is a Presbyterian pastor who has set aside the pulpit since 2005 to be an at-home dad to his four kids ages 6, 5, 4 and 2. Bill's diversion is study. While at home he finished his Doctor of Ministry and is now an MBA student. He also helps non-profits with business aspects of their mission. As Treasurer, Bill serves as the Chair of the Finance Committee for Daddyshome. 

SECRETARY – Chad Welch, St. Peters, MO

Chad is the stay-at-home dad to two boys. He has been the primary caregiver since the birth of his first son in 1999 and has stayed home full-time since 2001. Before staying at home, he worked in video production and web design. Chad enjoys cooking, reading non-fiction and travel. He is Chairman of the Communications and Marketing Committee and the Nominating Committee and writes his musings on the at-home dad community on our Twitter account.

At-Large – Hogan Hilling, Huntington Beach, CA

Hogan is a 21 year-at-home dad veteran and author of “Rattled: What He's Thinking When You're Pregnant" and the award-winning book "Pacifi(her): What She's Thinking When She's Pregnant." He and his wife, Tina, have three boys Grant, Wesley and Matt. Hogan is the Chairman of the Media Relations Committee and the Scholarship Committee and a member of the Daddyshome Speakers Bureau.

At-Large – Greg Washington, Morrisonville, WI
Greg has been an at-home dad since 2000 homeschooling his 3 boys. Greg participates in a local dad panel at Edgewood College, focusing on educating college students about the different roles of dads today. Greg was recently elected the chairman of the board of his semi-pro football team and serves as the Chairman of the Social Media Committee for Daddyshome. 

At-Large - Andy Ferguson, San Francisco, CA
Andy FergusonAndy is well into his second decade caring for his two daughters, keeping a household running, and promoting the competence at-home dads bring to parenting and shifting family structures. He was a member of Delaware Dads, founded the KCDads in 2003 and is thrilled to be raising his tweens back in his native San Francisco. Andy has been instrumental in the continued success of the Convention and was Convention Co-Chair from 2005-2008. Both on the job and in his spare time, Andy likes to play with his power tools... in the kitchen.

 Jake Knapitsch, Website Forum ChairmanJake has been a SAHD since his oldest was born.  He spends days keeping up with his two boys, 3 and nearly 1 and the KCDADs playgroup.  He enjoys classic cars, photography and going to the movies.  Before staying home, Jake flipped houses.  Along with serving on the board, Jake is also the Website Committee Chairman.

At-Large – Ariel Isenberg, Chicago, IL
Ariel (pronounced ar-E-l) has been an at-home dad for just two short years. He and his wife Shira have a wonderful three year old daughter and a 10-month old boy. Ariel enjoys cooking, working in the garden, reading, and listening to jam bands, punk, and... kids' music.  Before being hired as an at-home dad, Ariel earned his master's degree in elementary education. Ariel is the Chair of the Fundraising Committee and the Administrator for the Chicago Dads group.
